Covid-19: The Evidence Now Part 5

What have we learned?

This week’s instalment looks at two issues which have fed the fear narrative.

Firstly the much vexed topic of asymptomatic spread.  Without this thesis, there would have been no lockdowns, no routine testing of healthy school children, no mass sending home of complete classes or year groups. So what is the evidence?

Secondly, the question of effective treatments, heavily censored  in the first year of the pandemic prior to vaccine emergency use authorisations. Still of potential value in the face of waning vaccine efficacy, it is time to recognise that Covid-19 is a treatable disease.
